About our home

The 'lodge' is a perfect hide-away for couples looking for peace and quiet. The main living area with its high cathedral ceilings looks out to both the sea and the mountains. Here you will find a relaxing seating area with a log effect fire, satellite tv/radio, DVD and many other items with will make your stay superbly
comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern conveniences. The bathroom has a extra large victorian bathtub and a seperate
toilet with power shower. In the garden there
is a BBQ seating area and double hammock.

More about us

  1. We, Tim and Doris (both in our 50's), have lived in the main house for nearly 10 years. Tim is a full time artist and illustrator and Doris a marketing executive. Our children have grown up and we only have a rescue greyhound called Harley and Tigger our cat to look after. They will both be in care when you will be in the 'lodge' - unless we can exchange the care of our animals as well.
We look forward to hearing from you wherever you are. In the meantime, greetings from Ireland.

Where is it?

This beautiful studio apartment - the entrance lodge to a large country house - overlooks Kenmare Bay with the Kerry Mountains as a breathtaking backdrop, yet is within easy reach of a wonderful 'blue flag' beach in Ballinskelligs with all its local amenities.
This is a summer and winter destination as it never gets very cold in Ireland with with its moderate climate you can have some very nice weather all year round.
