  1. We are Fran and Olive, a married couple with grown- up adult children. We live in an Edwardian town house in South Dublin a short bus ride from the city centre.I am a structural engineer and Olive works in Customer Services in a large department store in the city. We very much enjoy travelling and experiencing new places. This is our first time to try to exchange our home. We are looking forward to what it might bring.

Where is it?

Fethard-on-Sea is approx 2hours drive from Dublin and a 1/2hour from Rosslare.
Our home is the last at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac of ten similar cottages just off
the main street. There you will find a large supermarket, chemist, post office, tourist office, hairdressers, childrens playground, several bars,a variety of restaurants to dine or take-away and even a betting shop.

As we are on the Hook Peninsula there are over 10 different beaches and coves that are accessable by car and within 5-10 minutes drive. At the end of the peninsula is Hook Head Lighthouse, the oldest operating lighthouse in Europe, which has daily tours as does its neighbour,Loftus Hall, which is Ireland's most famous haunted house.

In the area you can also visit the historical towns of New Ross, Wexford and Waterford, all with their own unique charm and heritage.
