About our home

We are a family of four: Rona (40) teaches English at the Hebrew University; Ram (43) Manages a consulting firm in the biotech field; Ariel (10) and Jordan (6). We are very experienced home exchangers with 8 exchanges under our belt, all extremely interesting and wonderful experiences. In fact we are still in touch with most of the people who visited our home and three of them returned back a second time.

We live in Jerusalem, on the French Hill neighborhood which is walking distance from the Mt. Scopus campus of the university (where Rona is teaching). The exact address is: Mevo Harari 51 Jerusalem. This is a very quiet area green and with great community and is both quiet and very close to the city center and to the old city. It is four stops on the light rail to the old city or 25 minute walk, 10 minute drive to the city center, 45 minutes to the dead sea, 1.5 hours to Masada, and also with great access to the highway with easy access to Tel Aviv (45 minutes); or getting up north to Haifa (1.5 hours) and Nazareth (2 hours).

Our house is a nice terrace house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and could sleep up to 7 people. We have a great balcony overlooking the Judea desert and the Hebrew University and a large front deck with BBQ and pizza over. Very well equipped kitchen (as we love to cook), satellite TV, WIFI, Wii etc. We also usually exchange our car a 7 sitter VW Touran automatic.

We plan to travel in the summer of 2015 for 2-3 weeks.

I would love to hear more (and see more) about your place.

I look forward to hearing from you, Ram
