About our home

We are open to swapping our charming country cottage for two with other short-term rental owners in Europe -- including off-season.

Kfar Warburg is off-beat but not off-in-the-boondocks. Nestled in bucolic Kfar Warburg (nicknamed 'the moshav with the Bougainvillea') â a 65 year-old rural village 38/45 minutes from Tel Aviv / Jerusalem, 15 min. east of Ashdod (p. 200,000)and the Med, and 90 minutes to the Galilee via the new #6 Cross-Israel Tollroad.

The house is completely furnished for year-round comfort, and can include a once-a-week maid for basic cleaning.

Loads of off-road dirt lanes through fields and orchards - safe for picnicking, walking or easy cycling.

More about us

We, the proprietors, Daniella â an American-born bilingual freelance journalist, and Rafi â a kibbutz-born photogrammetrist who works for a geodesic firm in Tel Aviv, live next-door. If our exchange is not simultanious we would be glad (in addition to our detailed Orientation Brochure) to offer tips on what to do, and provide insights on Israeli society over coffee 'on the house' - if desired.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The moshav is a village of individual farms founded by Jewish immigrants from Europe almost 70 years ago, but is less than half an hour from Rechovot and 15 min. from Ashdod and their concert halls, plays, cafes, etc. And an easy drive to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Convenient shopping in Kiryat Malachi - a town 2 km from the house.
