About our home

We can offer our private house with a private gated garden in Tel Aviv. Enjoy the quiet, green garden and roof deck, as well as the lemon and kumquat trees.

The full kitchen (Kosher meat -- if you don't know about keeping Kosher, we can set it up for you in a manner than we can make Kosher again later) includes a gas stove and oven, a dishwasher, water machine (filtered hot and cold) and all modern conveniences. The laundry room (washer and dryer) is in the garden, under the stairs to the roof-deck. We are within two blocks to a municipal gym and outdoor swimming pool. Walk 10 minutes to Hatikva Market (a large open-air market). Also within 10 minutes of the house are train (HaHagana Station) and bus connections. You can park your car right next to the house. The beach is a 40 minute walk, a 20 minute bus ride, or a 10 minute taxi ride from our house.

There is an attached unit to our house (sharing the courtyard/garden but with a separate entrance) that is used by my best friend. She works in finance and is usually not home during the day but she can be available either early morning at noon or at night to exchange keys. We also have a car (stick shift) and an electric unicycle (for those athletic and experienced or curious) available with a liability waiver.

From the house there are direct transportation links (10-15 minutes by bus) to Yigal Alon/HaShalom Road and an additional 5 minute walk to Azrieli Center Tower. The Bursa Center (20 minutes by direct bus).

Where is it?

HaTikva is a quiet and green residential area with easy access to the main arteries of Tel Aviv (Ayalon Blvd, HaHagana Train, Central Bus Station). Built shortly after the founding of the state, it retains its classic Tel Aviv atmosphere. Children play in the streets, neighbors are friendly, and the open-air Hatikva market is always bustling. The neighborhood is also a center for theater, with one municipal theater and two drama schools offering classic and art-house Hebrew productions. There is an excellent park in the neighborhood (Lake TLV) with water skiing, 2 duck ponds and tennis courts.

Walks in the park
Lake LTV (large park with water skiing, tennis courts and a small zoo) a 10 minute walk from the house
Spot of exercise
Beit Daniel (municipal gym, 2 blocks from the house)
