“This was our fourth home exchange and our first trip to Israel, but the owners (Jill and Rami) of this home in Zichron Ya'akov made it a terrific experience! Their home is conveniently located between Tel Aviv and Haifa and very close to the must see Biblical city of Caesarea. There are also beaches within five minutes of their home, which is located close by local food stores and parks (only a five minute walk away.) Zichron Ya'akov itself is a picturesque small town that is within walking distance and boasts everything necessary (banks, restaurants, craft shops, stores, musuems, etc.) We really loved the walk into town as you pass the tourist information centre which was also very helpful. Jill and Rami were terrific in communicating with us and could not have done more in anticipating our needs (as we were travelling with small children.) Their home is very tastfully decorated with four very comfortable bedrooms, a well equipped and very clean kitchen with plenty of seating and a large reception room with a flat screen television and all the latest accessories. The back garden was nice and cool in the evenings and was a favorite for our family, as it boasted the perfect balance of sun and shade, a small and beautiful garden, a picnic table set and barbecue. The neighbors were extremely kind and friendly (especially to our children) and the location is very quiet. We would 110% recommend it for anyone looking to see the real Israel! Jill and Rami were the perfect hosts and also took excellent care of our own home in Ireland!”
