Hi we have a fantastic villa with loads of space The villa is spread out over 3 floor plus a a large terrace .
The kitchen is located in a luminous basement which is much cooler in the summer months
(there is also air conditioning) there is a large play area for children a spare room a bathroom with shower and a laundry room. their are two exits to exits to the garden from the main hall and also from the laundry room.
The ground floor has air conditioning a second bathroom with a jacuzzi shower and the main lounge we have UK sky TV most channels are available including movies and HD,the main entrance to house is located here there is also a large porch area that surrounds the ground floor (plenty of room for barbeque with friends) there's a small study with a bed and full internet access wireless is available throughout the house.
The first floor is equipped with a bathroom and a jacuzzi to soak in there are three bedrooms with air conditioning in each one, all the bedrooms face East so you wake up always to a sunny day two of the bedrooms have balconies The villa has a video intercom system to allow access remotely. one of the receivers are on the first floor and the other is in the basement.
The ample terrace can be accessed via one of the bedrooms with a fantastic view of Brindisi sea and surrounding areas. The large garden is still in process of been seeded but should be available by summer. We are a family of 6 but the villa can easily accommodate more with studio bedroom and the spare room in the basement.
We have a cleaner that can come in to do the cleaning as often or little as you like, this we could arrange but it would not be included as part of the exchange.
This is an excellent part of Italy to come to (its where Italian love to holiday) we are 5 minute drive from the small airport of Brindisi and about mile away from the beach. The cost of living here is extremely low compared to most European cities. Brindisi is small town seeped in history the appian way ends here in Brindisi and last column of the road stands in the city centre. There is an abundance of restaurants and a local bus service that will take you to the centre alternatively a 10 minute walk will bring you to the ferry that crosses over much quicker and a lot more relaxing. The centre has a beautiful main street that has been pedestrianised with amazing little restaurants off most side street. Fish and sea food are everywhere but most serve both fish and meat and vegetarian. People are friendly and most speak English of some level with United Nations and Boeing having bases here. There are a lot of sea water sports to choose from a quick look around will give you an idea of whats available.
All the major car hires are here and conveniently located outside the airport (5 minute drive from the villa)
We are looking to do two swaps one for London and one for Dublin. during the summer months we have to define the dates but we are basically waiting for the schools to finish up for the summer.
