About our home

Villa Bellavista is our country home close to the Adriatic sea and nearby beaches. The villa is a renovated farmhouse set on our property with fruit trees and olive groves around it in addition to breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the sea. We have personally decorated this sun-filled villa which is now our peaceful home away from home.

  1. We are a family of five (two adults and three children) who love to travel. We have travelled all over the world and enjoy exchanging homes.

  2. Giuseppe is a financial advisor and I am a teacher.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The countryside around the house is very quiet and peaceful. There is a local restaurant nearby and a quaint small medieval town with some shops. Down by the sea there are many well equipped beaches with beds and sun umbrellas that can be rented out, in addition to towns full of shops and grocery stores. Designer outlets with the best Italian brands are about a half hour away.

Buzzy restaurants
The restaurant nearby has delicious food typical of the Le Marche region and there are many fish restaurants down by the sea.
Cool bars
There is nightlife in a nearby town called Porto San Giorgio.
Cozy cafés
The little medieval town just a couple of kilometers up the road has a charming café.
Retail therapy
There are fabulous shops in the nearby town of Porto San Giorgio and designer outlets with high fashion Italian brands just a short distance away in Casette d'Ete.
Bit of culture
Le Marche is a region in which every town or city is full of historical landmarks and art.
Spot of exercise
Personally I love to take long walks down by the beach in Porto San Giorgio or Pedaso.
Day tripping
In the summer I recommend visiting the Conero mountain (30 minutes by car) with its beautiful beaches and towns. During the rest of the year any town or city in the region is worth a trip to, such as the Loreto sanctuary, the Grotte di Frasassi (caves), Ripatransone, Recanati or, an hour and a half away, the castle of Gradara.
