Amazing sunny noble villa of the sixtheen century on the Italian Alps in between Como Lake and St. Moritz, sourrounded by heroic vineyards, forests and fascinating alpine villages, castles and palaces full of history. You will enjoy the Villa together with its dreamy big garden in a very tiny village in the countryside. Relaxing place, on the bike/walking path of the Via dei Terrazzamenti where the Valtellina Wine Trail is held every year. Indeed Valtellina wines are highly estimated with numerous presences among the top 100 best wines Worldwide. The villa is very close to very famous cellars where you can go for a visit in the properties and wine tasting. Very close to a 114 km bike path (https://sentiero.valtellina.it/) Valtellina Golf Club, a kayak, rafting and canoying center ( https://www.valtellinariver.it ) , charming restaurants and cool bars. In one hour and an half you can be in Milan center city. The Villa doesn't need air conditioning system: being an ancient building with very thick perimeter walls it is Always fresh during summer. Moreover, every late afternoon from March till September the Villa is brushed by the "bréva", the fresh and mild wind coming from the Como Lake. We prefer you don't smoke inside the Villa, but considering the big garden and the terrace this is not a big deal for smoking people ( 0 :

“Nous avons passé quelques jours fin août chez Carmen et Chiara. Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de la part de Chiara et de sa délicieuse Maman qui occupe l’appartement du dessous. La maison est une ancienne noble maison de famille pleine de charme, située dans un petit village hors des sentiers battus. Nous nous sommes laissé guider par les recommandations de Chiara et avons passé des journées bien remplies et variées ( magnifique cascade, vélo électrique jusqu’au lac de Côme, rafting, bains romains en pleine montagne ). Beaucoup de choses à découvrir dans un rayon de 30 min à 2 h de route dans cette région. Merci Chiara et Carmen! ”

“The house of Carmen is an Italian jewel. Carmen and her daughter are perfect hosts. We really had a wonderful time and hope to come back. The house is full of history, with a warm atmosphere. The garden and the terras give shadow and beautiful views. Good beds, very spacious living area with a dining area and a sitting room.The location of the house is perfect - hidden in small streets. The area is very rich, with beautiful nature and places to explore, and Carmen and her daughter Chiara gave us an introduction and a lot of recommendations, especially because she was very knowledgeable about the area. Good restaurants, a river with sports and of course a lot of culture. The region is not yet so touristic which we really liked. Carmen made us all feel at home. We hope to return because of the wonderful time we had.”
