Ideal place to relax and enjoy nature.
Art cities near to us.
Hot springs, hiking and riding.
Hello, I am Giovanna, the owner of the house I would like to offer you for exchange.
I am living in Umbria since 4 years. I left completely the big city for this paradise of peace.
The small village, where you find my house, is nestled in the woods and has a beautiful view.
In front of the house there is a large garden with olive trees.
The house is a loft with three floors. The ground floor is a large kitchen with a fireplace with 2 armchairs, heating wood stove, gas stove with electric oven, small electric oven, fridge with freezer, large dining table and 2 cupboards. On the first floor there is a large living room with a three seats couch, two chests of drawers, chest, library, video with DVD and CD player, a VCR, stereo, a small desk and a bathroom with shower. The third floor is a large attic with double bed and extra single bed, two night tables, two wardrobes and a small library. The whole house is in rustic stile with wooden beamed ceilings and wood planking is also the floor of the bed room, the other floors are in hand worked tiles. The decor of the kitchen and the attic is also rustic, while in the living room there are beautiful antique furniture. To the house belongs another room with independent entrance, a kitchenette, double bed, night tables, extra bed, cupboard, table, small table large antique desk with two drawers and a bathroom with shower.
Outside, surrounded by woods: vegetable garden, many olive trees, saffron cultivation, where I apply the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
If you are coming here, you can relax lying in a hammock, having breakfast under the pergola and enjoy an aperitif in front of a beautiful sunset whose colors in red design the outlines of the mountains Amiata and Cetona. It will be an ideal holiday for relaxing and enjoying the nature.
We are speaking English and French.
We present us:
As a group of artists and ex professionals from Rome, Florence, Naples, Munich. We found Umbria (a small region between Lazio and Tuscany) as a quiet place to live between nature and the culture.
Being in journey is our constant desire, like the change of experiences with other travelers. So this year some of us (age between 50-70) would like to live for one month on the Canarie islands during the period January – February 2014.
Group of Journey
Languages spoken: English, German, French, Italian.

(in reality we are six, there is a very nice and polite little dog, his name is Spillo, coming with us, barking when we are
discussing too much and waddling when we are having a rest, or when we are doing a walk).
Our preferred swaps:
We are free for every destination during our wintertime.
For Canary Islands would be ideal between 13 January - 10 February.
Verciano, the village where is my house is part of the community Parrano, A small pretty medieval village, which you can reach on a no-asphalt road 1,8 km far.
