About our home
Built in the classic Tuscan style with stone walls, terracotta tiles and marble floor. The back side of the property is built into the mountain, so it is cooled naturally. This property is in a Borgo which is a little village or group of houses, on a hill near a delightful picture perfect town town called Lecchi, with its own excellent restaurants and bars/cafes as well as the best little grocery store ever . All around are vineyards, the sound of birdsong, and from time to time cyclists as this area is famed for L'Eroica classic bike race. The cares of the world fall away as soon as you arrive. Trips to numerous characterful towns with restaurants and tavernas are on your doorstep. Electric bikes can be rented from Lecchi which are a giggle and a breeze. Siena is a twenty minute drive, Florence an hour. The superfast (300km/h) train gets you to Rome, Turin, Milan, Naples which also of course has Positano and Capri. It's all so easy to get to.
