“If you want to disconnect from the hectic world outside, but still maintain some sort of link to the convenience of modern life, this is the perfect place to go and chill out. My two kids and I stayed for almost a week in Isabelle’s house. It was winter, Christmas time, and we had a very good time. The house is spacious, however not modern, heating is done on the old fashion way, by feeding logs in the fireplace. If you need wifi, the connection is fast and local TV it’s available. Beds are comfortable, including the sofa-bed in the living room. Accessibility by car is fine. You also have rapid access to many of Italy’s renaissance jewels and to the kind of nature this region of Italy is famous for; rolling hills forests and fields.”
Isabelle's reviewsAs a host (3)
“The property is in a stunning location with stunning views all around. We loved sitting out in the morning and taking in the rolling hill views. The rooms are much larger then they appear in the photos, and are beautifully furnished. The long gravel drive to the property is easy enough to drive on and isolated position very idyllic if you love peaceful, picturesque surroundings. We highly recommend you stay here. Isabelle’s communication was excellent despite her being away at the time. You genuinely couldn’t have imagined a better property to stay at. Thanks very much to Isabelle for a very special time. ”
“We loved our stay in Isabella's house. She has a very cozy and comfortable house which is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. The house is situated on a hill with a lovely few on the valley. It is very quiet which gives you a real vacation feeling! We appreciated the communication with Isabella. She is very hospitable and helpful. She gave us lots of information about places to visit and the activities in the area. Our children had lots of fun on the swing in the garden. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with flowers and vegetables.”
Where is it?
Le Marche is a rich and interesting region of central Italy. For history lovers we are surrounded by the forts and palaces of the Montefeltro, including Urbino, Gubbio, San Leo and Mondavio. An hour or so's drive and you can visit some of the most impressive caves in Europe, the Grotte di Frassassi. You can discover a beautiful bit of the Adriatic coast at Sirolo, or poet Leopardi's birthplace at Recanati. There are markets in every local town and endless opportunities to enjoy the Italian way of life.
