About our home

Modern and functional apartment in Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, in the residential area "Quartiere del Sole", only a few steps from the famous sandy crystal sea beach of "Poetto". The house is located on the third floor of an elegant apartment with lift and has a spacious lounge / living area with a sofabed and kitchenette, a double bedroom, a room with bunk beds, two bathrooms and two balconies. In the big balcony there is a comfortable swing for great moments of relax outside. The house is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, TV, radio and CD player, a piano, DVD player and DHS, air conditioning and free WiFi. A few meters from the house there are several markets, bars, pizzeria, bus stops, news stands, pharmacies, gyms, gardens and playgrounds for the children.

Sardinia is situated to the West of mainland Italy and surrounded by more than 1800km of wonderful coastline. It has an amazing sea, unique beaches of fine Golden sand and pink rocks in a Crystal water, unspoiled countryside and over 300 days of sunshine per year. The entire island is rich of charming villages and towns, full of history, folklore and flavours.
Sardinia is also a land of culture with dozens of small and large museums scattered around the island and hundreds of archaeological sites. Its traditions and its history have been influenced by many Mediterranean civilizations over the centuries.
Our lovely island is a food lovers' paradise, too: seafood, fish, cheese, seasonal vegetables, roasted suckling pig, handmade pasta like ravioli and culurgiones. Typical wild herbs are also largely used in local cuisine, which give food a very distinctive Mediterranean flavour. The local wines are part of every meal in Sardinia. Cannonau is the most famous among the red wines with Vermentino being the perfect white choice as an aperitif or for seafood dishes.
I am really in love with my Island, and I am sure anybody would be so too after spending some time there.
