“It was a great pleasure to stay in Linda and Toni's guest house where everything is handy and functional. Its location is really off the track (expect a little effort to find it but it is worth it) but being in the heart of the Colli Eugenei region is a treat. If you like biking and hiking, you are in a paradise area. And if you enjoy the beauties of Italian art and culture, Padova or Ferrara are there of course but smaller towns like Montagnana, Monselice and Este will also fill your bag of delicate views and souvenirs. Linda and Toni have been most welcoming and generous and we will keep warm memories from our stay in their place. Thanks”

About our home
Note: 18.05.2021 We’d like to inform our guests of our considerations regarding the Covid-19 epidemic. My husband and I are going to be fully vaccinated by the end of July and intend to receive guest after that date. We also require that our guests also be fully vaccinated. In addition, we are applying the standard methods to cleaning to guarantee a correct sanitation.
Our guest house, which is detached from our main house (30 meters or 90 feet), is a gracious country house in the middle of a small court of ancient origin which includes: a master bedroom, a roomy kitchen with a large fireplace, veranda, 2 bathrooms (an en suite master bathroom and half bath without shower) and the possibility of two other beds. There is also a large outdoor lounging area with barbecue.
Located on a 5-acre estate, practicing organic farming, in the heart of the Euganean Hills Regional Park and wine country it's a great place for a relaxing holiday.
Our houise is exactly half way between Padua the city of the Carraresi Family, Giotto and Mantegna and Vicenza the city of Palladio. Venice is 45 minutes away by train, including trip to the train station. It’s also very close to Este, a town with pre-roman roots and Arquà Petrarca, the picturesque village where the master poet, Francesco Petrarca, chose to spend the rest of his life.
It’s surely a place where you can spend pleasant days hiking the beautiful paths of the park, taking scenic bike rides, and sightseeing interesting cities of art, and medieval villages. While, of culinary interest, in the nearby wine cellars you can enjoy wine tasting and in the typical farm tourism restaurants of the Euganean Hills you can find old traditions combined with high quality dishes and reasonable prices.
We suggest you have a vehicle since we’re in the country. Public transportation is available 1 km from the house (not frequent) otherwise there are also coaches from town every hour, which is 3 km away.

“What a wonderful swap! The Guesthouse is adorable, authentic, completely equipped, scenic, perfectly quiet and private, and situated on a picturesque hill. The hosts Linda and Toni, or generous, genuine, fun and interesting. Having lived there for a long time, they are experts at suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. They are bilingual in English and Italian so communication was easy. They live next door and are available when needed. Don't miss dinner at Toni Biseo just up the hill! Tip; buy your groceries on the way. It would be far to go back to the supermarket.”
“Linda and Toni have stayed twice in our home, and it was a wonderful experience each time. The house was sparkling when we returned last week, everything in its place, with nice gifts and a lovely thank you note. We have had the opportunity to talk with them over coffee, and we find them to be an interesting and thoughtful couple. We hope to host them again in the future!”
“Linda and Toni were perfect guests. Interesting, communicative, generous and adventurous. They took excellent care of our San Francisco penthouse, and it was a pleasure to meet them, briefly, when they first arrived in California. They left our condominium spotless, with a bottle of champagne in the freezer and other treats. They even stripped the bed before heading out. Hope to see them again, on this side or that side. MOST welcome back, anytime!”
“Linda and Toni are terrific exchange guests – warm, adventurous, neat as a button, and perfectly adaptable. We would be sad to say goodbye, if it weren't for the fact they'll be visiting us again soon in our SF flat. Lucky us! Looking forward to seeing them both again and, meanwhile, highly recommend these two proficient travelers to other LHS exchange hosts.”
