“Tout est tellement parfait que nous avons eu du mal à partir, on se sentait " chez nous" dans cet appartement qui est plutôt une maison puisqu il a une entrée indépendante et est seul à l étage. L équipement est complet , tout en bon état, le lit confortable, la vue de toute beauté. Michele est un hôte horst du commun, il nous as donné une foule d informations dans tous les domaines, a été présent à chaque fois que nous avons eu une question. Bref un séjour inoubliable.”

The Crete Senesi refers to an area of the Italian region of Tuscany to the south of Siena. It consists of a range of hills and woods among villages and includes the comuni of Asciano, Buonconvento, Monteroni d'Arbia, Rapolano Terme and San Giovanni d'Asso, all within the province of Siena. Crete senesi are literally ‘Senese clays’, and the distinctive grey colouration of the soil gives the landscape an appearance often described as lunar. This characteristic clay, known as mattaione, represents the sediments of the Pliocene sea which covered the area between 2.5 and 4.5 million years ago. Nearby is also the semi-arid area known as the Accona Desert. Perhaps the most notable edifice of this area is the monastery of Monte Oliveto Maggiore. The region is known for its production of white truffles, and hosts a festival and a museum dedicated to the rare fungus (genus Tuber).
The interior of the house is the work of internationally renowned designer Nobili&Palombi, who has blended modern luxury and contemporary convenience with the cosy character and welcoming warmth of traditional rural Tuscany homes.
The house has a welcoming open-plan lounge and dining space, finished kitchen featuring a range of modern appliances, indulgent bathrooms and full open window to Crete Senesi. It is looked after throughout the year by a team of dedicated maintenance staff.

Michele's reviews
As a host (2)“We cannot express how much we have enjoyed staying at Michele's beautiful apartment. Not only it was blessed with the most refreshing and beautiful morning view of Tuscany fields, the apartment was tastefully decorated and cozy to feel completely at home; cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and having breakfast on the long wooden table with sun beaming into the dining area that warms your heart, the biggest perk and pleasant surprise, was the very fact the Michele was the most hospitable, welcoming and heart-warming host that was willing to spend time having the most personal and inspiring conversations one could have; especially in regards to the politics, history and culture of Tuscany or Italy itself. We had the most personal and beautiful experience, and would love to return some day. You should totally not miss this one. A wonderful experience awaits. Thank you Michele! ”
