About our home
Our apartment is located in a building built during the '50. We are at the third and highest floor and it has an elevator. It is composed of two bedrooms (1 with king size bed and 1 with two single beds), 1 bathrooms with shower, 1 kitchen with dining room, 1 living room with sofa and projector, 2 balconies.
The apartment is full of light because is at the top of the building and aired because it has big windows on every side of the building.
The building is very quiet as the neighbourhood in general. It is located on a sort of little hill called "Il Poggetto" at the north of Florence, very green and quiet, especially in Summer. Bus stop is at 1 minute walk, direct to the city center, in 20 minutes. It is a quite residential area so you will find restaurants and shops at 10 minutes walks direction Piazza Dalmazia, Piazza Giorgini and Piazza Leopoldo. The nearest supermarket is also at 10 minutes walking.
The northern countryside of Florence is just a few minutes from home by car: Fiesole, San Domenico, Settignano, Sesto Fiorentino, Castello (and the Medici's Villas).
You will find a list of useful numbers and suggested restaurants or attractions in case you'd need our advice. And our relatives live in the apartment at the second floor of the same building so you can count on them.
There is wifi connection, Netflix account, projector. And a black and white cat who needs to be fed in the morning and before night sleep :)
