About our home

Small, cosy, quiet, bright apartment in the most popular and welcoming area in the centre of the city: the Oltrarno.

There is a living room, a dining room, the kitchen, a bathroom (with shower), a little terrace and a sleeping loft with a double bed.
The loft has its own window and, although it is not actually a separate room (there is no door), you can see from the pictures (I will add them soon!!) that it’s isolated from the rest of the house.

The apartment can host up to 4 people: there is a double bed on the loft and a sofa bed that converts to a double bed.

During your stay you can use: washing-machine, wi-fi, kitchen, fridge, radio, cd-player, iron, hairdryer…..
Plus I will leave you plenty of information and tips about Florence!

The queen of the house is Paloma, the cat. You can take care of her if you like (she'd love that!), or, if not, I can take her to a frined's house while you're there.

All the main museums are within walking distance. Some of them (Santo Spirito, Carmine, Boboli Gardens) are just 5 min away.
A lot of shops are just around the corner, as well as mini-markets, restaurants, bars.,, and the most beautiful and fun square of Florence!
The bus stop is 5 min walking, train station 15 min walking, airport 20 min with a cab.

I love my neighbourhood (Santo Spirito, Oltrarno)! And so will you!

Please note: the apartment is on the 3° floor (no elevator); also the loft has a ladder... so if you suffer from vertigo...! (but of course, in this case, you could use the sofa bed in the living room).

More about us

  1. I'm Leila. I'm half Italian, half Iranian. Born and raised in Florence.

  2. I run an organic catering company. I've also written a few travel guides, including one about Florence. I love: listening to music, travelling, dancing, laughing with friends, reading, flowers, the bridges of Florence, coffee and Paris. I can't cook. I don't own a car. I don't own a TV.

  3. Looking for a home in PARIS for 3/4 weeks in end OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2017 and FEBRUARY 2018. It could be: a simultaneous swap; a non simultaneous swap, I could host you in Florence (for 1/2 weeks) in spring/summer (while I stay with friends); or I'm open to "points options".
