About our home
Classic apartment in the beautiful Piazza delle Vigne. Newly renovated, clean, spacious, and just a five minute walk from Porto Antico, Via Garibaldi, and Piazza Ferrari. The piazza is well-lit, vibrant and eclectic. Experience the heart and soul of Genoa - a city of many walks of life, authentic worldliness, and tarnished historical charm.
Piazza delle Vigne is always a source of amusement. There is a wonderful cafe with the best brioche, an excellent restaurant, a fifteenth century church, a Palazzo from the sixteenth century which is now a four star hotel, an Italian/African bar, and a punk shop. You are bound to enjoy sitting at the dining table by the window overlooking the piazza while you take in the sounds of Genovese life.
The building dates back to the sixteenth century but as with many buildings in Centro Storico, more floors were added over the years. I think the apartment has a special ambiance, mainly due to the surroundings and the life in the piazza which is never dull, but also because of the high ceilings and natural light.
There is a large bedroom with a single child's bed, a comfortable spare room with a single bed, and a spacious room with a double bed. Kitchen has dishwasher and washing machine. Bathroom has shower and bidet.
