About our home

This old village house in northern Tuscany has been renovated for comfortable vacation use. From the patio you have a breathtaking view of the Apuan Alps, behind us is the Apenines with exciting hiking and ancient mountain villages to explore. From the house one can take pleasant daytrips over the Apuan Alps to to Cinque Terre, and the beaches of Versiglia, you can explore Florence and the Chianti region on a day trip as well. Lucca, the favorite medieval town of most visitors to Tuscany is just a 35 min drive away. In August-mid October when our house is available for swap or points, the country side around us abounds with "sagras", festivals which celebrate artisan and traditional foods, wine and upcoming harvest.
