About our home

HOUSE NOT AVAILABLE DURING MID JUNE TO END AUGUST

In the National Park in central Italy, Monti Sibillini, le Marche, our house enjoys stunning views and a brilliant secluded location for nature lovers, explorers, mountain bikers, photographers.
4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and garden. Two little villages 10 minutes by car, Sarnano and Amandola offer all day to day needs. Please Note: The pool may be covered out of high season and we prefer to swap with couples rather than big families, thanks.

Features

More about us

  1. We are an Italian/English couple loving life in beautiful Le Marche region Italy

  2. We have been renting villa Gelso for holidays for over 20 years, unfortunately we cannot swap during high season, mid June- End August, as it's our business. Also out of season the pool could be covered. Having said that, Spring and Autumn are better times to visit this region, mountain walks are cooler and all the lovely colours to enjoy.

  3. We love the countryside and nature, but Italy has so much more to offer ... Food, wine, culture and wonderful people.

Neighbourhood

Pronounced 'Markay' - our region lies on the eastern side of central Italy between the Adriatic sea and the Appennine mountains. It is the unspoilt part of Italy, rural, with spell-binding hill-top towns and curvy hills, orchards and vineyards You can be in the mountains in the morning and the beach in the afternoon! Marche boasts sandy beaches, 250 art galleries and museums, 150 castles and fortresses, 200 Romanesque churches, 40 abbeys, several National Parks, 170 medieval towers and 33 archaeological sites, and the most truly awe-inspiring caves at Frasassi. Add to that stunning landscapes and sunshine. Wine alone could provide a worthy motive for touring this area, with 7 D.O.C. wines and vineyards and wineries to tour.
