Country House in Tuscany

My house is set in the splendid Tuscan countryside between Lucca and Pescia. It's is an ideal location for a relaxing tranquil break surrounded by nature which at the same time offers a vast choice of cultural and artistic attractions in the nearby towns of Lucca, Florence, Pistoia, Collodi and the wonderfully sumptious renaissance villas of the Lucca planes.

The house has two floors, a kitchen with fireplace, a living room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping in total six, with the possibility of sleeping also in the couch (extra two beds).
If you need there is also a depandance, in front of the main house, with a living room with fireplace and with 2 couches (4 extra bed), a kitchen and a bathroom.
In the house you will find washing machine, TV, guidebooks and magazines to make your stay in Tuscany as unforgettable as possible.
The house is set in a garden surrounded by olive groves where guests can relax.

This is a comfortable, quite house that is situated 12 km from Lucca, in the splendid Lucca planes, just 45 minutes from Florence (65km) and Pisa (40 km). The position of this house is one of the best locations for a holiday in Tuscany: the Firenze-Mare motorway is only 10 minutes away which takes us in just 25 minutes to Viareggio and the sunny Versilian coastline (40 km).

The house is in the countryside, but not too isolated: our neighbours are nice people. At just 5 drive you have food stores, supermarkets and many nice and typical restaurants. During summer there are many open air events.

Lucca is beautiful medieval city. You will loving it!

The Lucca planes surround the house: the area is filled with green hills and sumptious villas built between the XV and XVII centuries by the local families who chose the area for their Summer residences. Another place of interest for tourists is Collodi, the village of Pinocchio, a tale for children hero http://www.pinocchio.it/eng/pinocchio, and the ancient spa site of Montecatini Terme Monsummano, with the suggestive natural grottos, and Bagni di Lucca, where the Global Village offers both holistic and natural treatments.
With longer movements you can catch up also famous cities like Siena (125 Km), Volterra (80 km) and San Gimignano (110 Km).
For the tourist who enjoys a culinary wine experience, the area is an ideal base, the surrounding olive groves provide an excellent pure extyra-virgin olive oil, which is one of the most famous Tuscan products and nearby Montecarlo is famous for its production of fine D.O.C. red and white wines.
There are tennis and horseback riding facilities within four kilometres and a golf course in Montecatini.
