The home is situated on a hill overlooking Lake Maggiore and to reach it by car requires skill and nerve (typical of narrow roads in Italy).The village is 500 steps down a cobbled path where there is a small supermarket . ”

“We stayed here for four nights and it was very pleasant. The location of the property is fabulous, with amazing views over Lake Maggiore. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Francesco's mother was available by phone if we needed anything, but it was not necessary. September was a great time to visit as it was not so crowded with tourists. We found this property to be an excellent base from which to explore northern Italy and Switzerland, and it was very easy to get to from Milan airport (about 90 minutes away). Highly recommended.
