About our home

Traditional stone Tuscan house with two additional apartments attached. Large garden, surrounded by own olive groves, on a hillside with stunning views over the valley and medieval village of Massa.

Features

More about us

  1. We're a quiet, tidy Anglo-Italian family of 4, with twin boys (15). We live in an old Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by its own land and olive groves, 5 mins from the local medieval village of Massa.

  2. Fabio works in television, with TV crews filming in Italy, and Marinella runs the self-catering apartments attached to our house.

  3. We love the Tuscan countryside and opening our house to visitors. Our home is very comfortable, with a recently refurbished kitchen. We have a large garden, and stunning views over the valley.

Neighbourhood

The house is set in its own land of olive groves, just a 10-minute walk from the very pretty medieval village of Massa. Around us are rolling hills of olive groves and vineyards, with more characteristic Tuscan villages and great restaurants. A 15-min drive gets you to the elegant spa town of Montecatini Terme (and the railway station with services to Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc). A little further (about half an hour) is Lucca and Pistoia, both very beautiful towns to visit. Sandy beaches are at Marina di Vecchiano and Pisa, about 50 mins away.
