Cozy apartment with terrace in central Milan

“Alberto's apartment is centrally located within easy walking distance of the main historic attractions of Milan and even offers parking. Our communication was efficient and Alberto met us in person to show us around the apartment. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants on the same block. We were very happy with this swap and recommend Alberto's apartment to anyone travelling to Milan.”

“I spent a lovely week in Alberto's place last August. The property location is excellent. You are able to walk to the town centre and public transport is just outside the apartment block. Alberto was a very helpful host and the communication between us was very fluent. The apartment was nice, comfortable and well equipped.”

“La realidad estuvo muy lejos de nuestras expectativas, aunque la ubicación fue buena, el departamento estaba muy desordenado, la limpieza y el orden dejaba mucho que desear, éramos dos parejas y fue sumamente incómodo pues las recámaras son demasiado pequeñas y en una de ellas al agrandar la cama para hacerla matrimonial dejaba un espacio de 30 centímetros en el que apenas se podía caminar. Estuvimos a punto de dejar el departamento e irnos a un hotel. El dueño valua su departamento en 250 puntos pero escasamente vale 100. No lo recomendamos***************************************************Host's response: this is the apartment where i live and consequently it is full of my personal things (books suits, dress etc) but this was never hidden and it has always been stated on the presentations of LHS and in the pictures pubblished so i cannot understand any criticism on different info from expectations. Even for cleaning conditions i am a bit surprised since any other guest has commented badly on this, in any case they have not done any sort of request or critics about cleaning during their stay (i could have done something immediately). First of all they communicated to be 1 couple not 2. In fact i've prepared only one bed/room . Anyway the space is 120 mq including terrace as always communicated . Also the pictures of the rooms speaks from themselves as they are quite well explaining . The size of the houses in Italy and in Milan are not the same as Mexico (i've been to mexico many times). The house of the exchange that has been offered is not their own house but the house of their friends ...and probably this misleading and untrue bad comments is due to the fact that I've asked not to do a direct swap since i cannot go to mexico this year but to change the swap with points (pls refer to my previous communication to your customer service on that”

“Alberto was an absolutely amazing host. The apartment is located in a fabulous area with great restaurants and a 15 minute walk to The Catherdral. A very cosy flat, it felt like I was staying at a friends apartment. Transport very close with the tram stop almost on the doorstep. It made my trip to Milan especially wonderful having mainly stayed in hotels prior. My first time staying at someone’s place on Home Swap and I look forward to many more stays like this. Heidi”
