The apartment is really big (at least for Milan standards). Being at the 4th floor makes it plenty of sunlight for most of the day.
The kitchen is huge and fully furnished (we even have the dish washer…and washing machine too of course).
The room is really big and super cute, hard wooden floor, white walls with some really nice illustrations hang in in them, a wooden desk and a huge blackboard to write down your plan for the visit or make funny sketches.
The toilet is quite tiny, there is a bath tub that we mostly use as a shower, a WC, a bidet and a basin, it looks quite '50 as it's colored in some kind of dark brown.
Two more people are living in the apartment (in their own room of course), they are super nice guys but out working hard most of the time (Milan Style). The atmosphere in the house is really chilled and relaxed, no external people around (especially not in the night). There is even a small kitten purring around…hope you're not allergic...
The guests will have access to their room, the kitchen together with all the tools, the bathroom, wifi, washing machine, dish washer, clean bed sheet are also provided.
All right…no kidding: here you truly are in the best neighborhood of Milan at the moment. I was living in more or less every neighborhood in this town and now that I tried this I will not move away so easily: super nice new restaurant and cafes are popping up along the streets every second day, together with nice shops and bars, people is walking by the Navigli channels, eating outside, chilling on the floating rafts and the best thing is that everything cool is happening here so you more or less just need to walk out the door.
Don't miss the bakery down here, in the morning they are filling (live) your croissant with the finest cream or Nutella for just 1 euro! Besides from that you have any kind of food you can think about just by!
Just crossing the street in front of the house door you get to Porta Genova: one of the main subway station in Milan, it will connect you with everything you need. Without even changing the subway line you can get to the Cadorna and Central Station in max 10/15 minutes from here where you can find all the connection to the airports. Besides from the subway station, in the same place you have one of the main square where so many bus and tram line are meeting. Is possible to walk to Piazza Duomo (the very main square) in 20-25 minutes or to take a tram to get there in 10.
there is a kitten in the apartment…did I already say that?
