About our home

Our home is a restored old stone haybarn with all the necessary modern conveniences. It is located on a picturesque little country lane but is still only a few minutes to the nearest town for everything one needs for a pleasant holiday. Centrally located in the Upper Tiber Valley, day trips to Firenze, Assisi, Siena, Perugia, Cortona, Orvieto and many more are in east reach. Or just relax in the garden on sunbeds, enjoy the views, and try all the local wines, followed by a very short stroll down to our local restaurant.
The kitchen/dining area was just completely redone last year and just awaits your meals made with all the seasonal produce and other local ingredients. Nice quality linens and a bottle of wine are waiting for your arrival. We are normally in residence nearby and always happy to assist with advice and questions.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are situated in the midst of vineyards with hills and mountains all around. This an agricultural area so the fields are an array of constantly changing colors and textures. Umbertide, the local market town is only 5 minutes away with all the shops and services one needs. There are many sights close by and with a sizable population of expats, communication is easy and historical sights are well marked. Festas are ongoing for virtually any know reason as well!
