The ‘casale’ is about 150 years old and has always be owned by the Tomassini family. They ran a farm here. The house is built of stones from the adjoining river, the 'Serrone'. Until 2007 the house was owned by the three Tomassini brothers: The house was then radically rebuilt, retaining as much of the original features as possible, such as: beam ceilings, cotta floors, original ‘pietra’ walls, a pizza oven and various elements from the old stalls. Five attractive apartments have been made in the house; four to rent to guests and one for ourselves.
There is a large garden around the house with various benches in the sun or shade. The views over the valley and the town of Montedinove are breathtaking! There are a refreshing outdoor shower and 2 hot tubs placed in the garden, for our guests.
