About our home
This flat has been very recently re-restored with lot of improvement in insulation in every season; in the building within 9 flats are living only 4/5 families of very quite people. It is located in the historical centre of Monterotondo, that is a 50.000 inhabitants old city north-east of Rome. Rome down-town is easily reachable by our mainstream train that stops every 15 minutes in the local station far by bus only 10 minutes. Total time to get by example the Roma Vatican Museums is an hour maximum. On the even more positive sides we are near a lovely country area very green, with walking paths, nature, typical restaurants and historical sites all sorrounding Monterotondo. The city main supermarkets, shopping and sport centres are just few minutes walking . Church is nearby and so the hospital quite efficient. A nice pizzeria and steak house is just across the street, very usefull for lazy dinner but never busy to become noisy. Actually the whole lat is very quite at any time.
Inside you can count on one main bedroom, one lounge with large TV, upright piano, large chester divan, square table, small but handy kitchen, and 2 bathrooms, one inside the bedroom with large bath tab/shower and one in front of the entrance with WC, sink and shower. A second floor is a loft height about 6 feets including one bed and half that at need can become double bed. This loft is not fully liveble but is very comfortable for reading a book, playing an instrument or doing yoga. Perfect to sleep in full silence. All furnitures are antique and the whole flat has a special and warm character.
