Casa Il Pino - in Chianti near Florence, Siena and Arezzo

Casa il Pino is situated in the middle of a private fenced property with a biological vegetable garden, from which guests can gather fresh fruits and vegetables.

The house is located in the Arno River Valley at a 30 km radius from Arezzo, Siena and Florence, with the Chianti hills to the west and the Pratomagno Mountains to the east.

The house is a 3 floor building occupied on the first floor by tenants and on the second floor by the owners.

The guest quarters are located, on the ground floor (3 setps to go in) and have a private entrance and a private garden.

Casa il Pino can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons and is composed of a full kitchen, a big dining room with a loggia to eat outside with a direct access to the garden and a living room; the house has 2 bedrooms with queen-size bed (or twin beds), 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, 1 with bath and shower)

It is a five-minute walk from the house to the center of town.
With the rent of the house we will be happy to provide you the bicycles (we have 3 available).

Casa Il Pino is located in Via Vespucci 10/2 Montevarchi; in a quiet area only 300 meters from the old-town center at a 30 km radius from Arezzo, Siena and Florence, with the Chianti hills to the west and the Pratomagno Mountains to the east.

This is a land where, more than any other place, tradition and daily life exist side by side in perfect harmony. Montevarchi, situated in the midst of what is known as unspoiled “wine country” - with its vineyards, olive trees, castles, medieval hilltop villages and churches - is one of the more lively towns south of Florence.

The history of Montevarchi dates back to circa 986, when pilgrims and travelers stopped here on their way to and from Rome.

Today the town is quite famous for its contribution to the international fashion industry and boasts the location of prestigious fashion outlets like Prada. From here guests can also easily reach the nearby Mall.

Not to be missed is the Thursday morning market and the indoor farmer market (Mercatale)

The area has excellent restaurants, a farmer’s market and regular train service to Florence, Arezzo, Rome (with connections to every major Italian city)
