About our home

Our house is a typical stone building on a hill overlooking the sea, in the nice village of Scauri, on the island of Pantelleria (southern Italy), known as "The Black Pearl in the Mediterranean" for the extreme beauty of it volcanic rocks.
This ancient volcanic stone building has vaulted ceilings, doomed roofs, hand-painted tiles and thick walls, to keep it cold in summer and warm in winter.

There are two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a sitting room, a dining room, a kitchen, a covered terrace, an uncovered terrace, a garden, a private street leading to the house and wide uncovered parking area.
Great sea view and nice surroundings.

The island can be easily reached by plane from from Trapani or Palermo airports (in Sicily), but there are also direct flights from the main Italian airports from May to September.
