About our home

My apartment is on the fourth floor of a condo from the 50s placed within a walking distance ( 12 minutes) from the leaning tower and other places of interest in the town. It has one big bedroom with a queen size bed and a wardrobe, a single bedroom with a single bed, a wardrobe and a writing desk, and another single bedroom with no wardrobe but with a writing desk. In the sitting room there is a balcony looking on the lungarno, the most charming part of Pisa. There are also a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom with wc, basin and tub-shower and another small bathroom with wc and a basin.
The apartment is near the railway station (ten minutes' walk or five minutes' by Lam Rossa bus). The airport Galilei is 15 minutes' away.

Pisa is a rather small medieval town, one of the most beautiful of Toscana. It is the seat of three important universities and is a very important cultural, artistic centre. Besides the famous Leaning Tower, Pisa has beautiful churhes, little medieval squares and streets and the river Arno that divides the town into two parts.
From Pisa it is easy to visit Florence (1 hour by train and car) Siena (1 hour and half by train or by car), San Gimignano (1 hour and half), Cinque Terre ( 1 hour and half) .
