“There were many highlights of our stay at Mirko's house. Above all, the views from the master bedroom of the rolling hills and the shimmering river in the valley below. This is a great base for exploring Tuscany and day trips to Florence, Siena, Chianti , Fiesole and more are all very easy. A car is essential and the house was initially slightly tricky to find. But Mirko arranged for a lovely neighbour to 'look after' us and her children and ours got along brilliantly.The house is clean and modern with walks along vineyards from the door. Not to be missed is a day spent relaxing at the spectacular pool at the agriturismo just up the road. In August, be ready for heat and mosquitoes but we knew all of this and managed, even with three young children.
