Renovated Tuscan Farmhouse set in olive groves with stunning views

Villa Olivo sleeps up to 8 people. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with king size beds and a twin bedded room - each room being very spacious with ample storage and spectacular views across the valley. There is also a family bathroom comprising of bath, shower, toilet, bidet and vanity unit.
The downstairs has a living room with a king size sofa bed and shower room .
The spacious fitted kitchen / dining room has a dishwasher, an electric fan oven with a gas hob. There is also, a fridge freezer, microwave, electric kettle, and toaster. It is perfect for families self catering where meals can be taken in the dining room or 'al fresco' on the patio.
Our house manager, Lara, lives locally and is available to meet and greet guests and turn on all the services. There are several very reasonable (child friendly) local restaurants near the house and the hypermarket at Montecatini Terme is only 15 minutes drive. There is a local grocery store just down the road.
We have always loved Italy and spent 2 years looking for a place to buy. We traveled all around Tuscany and Umbria and eventually decided on Casa Cipressi. Why? ....because in our opinion it has the best of everything. An ideal country location with beautiful views, yet only 15 minutes from civilization, hypermarkets, rail and autostrada, big town shopping. Nievole,itself is only 5 minutes drive from the medieval town of Montecatini Alto and is close to many excellent restaurants and pizzeria. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking (and running and cycling). All the main attractions of Tuscany are in easy reach for day trips: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Viareggio, Lucca, Arrezo, Cinque Terra, the Chianti Trail, Cortona, Volterra.
We knew this was the right property for us when we drove up the winding road from Nievole with olive trees on either side. Then, we turned into our drive and drove down into 5 acres of olive grove and chestnut forest until we reached the house. It has outstanding views across the valley and is totally secluded. You can hear the stream flowing, there is an abundance of wildlife (deer and the occasional wild boar). The house is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse dating back to the 1800's but has all the modern comforts and fittings. Above, it is a place to relax and enjoy.
