“We met Christina and her lovely family first when they arrived at our home, and for the second time when we returned from Rome - and they surprised us with an amazing breakfast in our flat! They were super pleasant to communicate with, very easy-going, helpful and generous. Our oldest daughter didn't want to let go of Christina's boys :D The flat is very central, there is a tram and several buses to get you into the city centre. (The area of Trastevere is very close - a great place for drinks and food.) The terrasse in the flat is gorgeous and enormous, and has all sorts of plants! There were also two cats to look after, but they had to be fed only in the morning and in the evening, so the fact that we were out of the house most of the time was not importnant. Christina and her family left our flat spotless. We would highly recommend an exchange with them!”
Where is it?
Our street is in a lively and typical Italian quarter with street cafés, restaurants and local shops. An outdoor market with fresh produce and specialities is just down the road and shopping streets are nearby. Villa Pamphili, Rome's biggest and most beautiful park offers great free time possibilities: You can go jogging, cycling, relax and sunbathe or have a picnic on the lawn. There are some great playgrounds too!! We are close to the centre of Rome, piazza Venezia, the Vatican as well as Trastevere with its famous and buzzing nightlife. The nearby Gianicolo hill offers fantastic views over the city!
The flat is well connected: direct bus and tram line to the centre right in front of the house.
