Neighbourhood

The Parioli district founded its own fortune by directing itself to a population of essentially high class, becoming, in fact, one of the most exclusive quarters of Rome.
In the second post-war period the neighbourhood reached the apex of notoriety: people of cinema, theatre, industry, high finance and diplomacy had their rich homes or offices in the neighbourhood. In the Sixties/Seventies take an aperitif at the bar Hungaria in Piazza Hungary, at the bar Euclid in Piazza Euclide or from Aphrodite to Piazza Verdi was much more chic than to take it from Doney in via Veneto. The Parioli neighbourhood is close to the city centre and is with it well and comfortably connected. Since the destination of this district has always been of dwellings for the upper class, it has always been very important to the green and now it turns out that Parioli is one of the greenest quarters of Rome, if not the greenest. In fact, in its territory insist the park of Remembrance, the Parco Dell'Acqua Acetosa where were created part of the sports facilities of the Olympics of 1960, the old pigeon shooting under Piazzale delle Muse and part of the neighboring park of Villa Ada beyond, Of course, in Villa Borghese, the largest park in Rome extending to the terrace of the Pincio and the steps of Trinità dei Monti can be easily reached on foot from our house.
At the foot of the hill of the Rimembranza Park, on the area of the old hippodrome of Villa Glori, stands the Auditorium of Rome, while on the edge of Villa Ada, towards the Olympic street was born, years ago, the mosque.
