About our home
The apartment is in the center of Rome. It is spacious and bright, at the 6th and last floor (no elevator) of a 19th century building, ideal for a couple or a couple with children. It is composed of two big bedrooms, one with double bed and one with a sofa bed, a large living room, a separate full equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, washing machine), one bathroom and two balconies on both sides of the apartment.
The building is just 200 meters distant from Termini station, 35 minutes from Fiumicino International Airport (with Leonardo Express train), both metro lines stations and several bus lines heading everywhere in the city.
We are just a 15 minutes' walk distant from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and very close (2 minutes) to the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and the fascinating Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in the heart of the Esquilino, one of the seven hills of ancient Rome, a neighborhood for centuries considered a suburban niche in the city centre that only at the and of the 19th century, after the unification of Italy with Roma as its capital, experienced a rich and quick urban development. Esquilino is now a bustling neighborhood full of turn-of-the-century charm and a multi-cultural mélange.
