Stylish home in the great beauty of Rome

“We had a wonderful two week stay at Fabiana's apartment in the Parioli district of Rome. The apartment was absolutely beautiful -- so restful and cool after the heat and bustle of Rome. Our kids sighed with relief every time we walked in the door and felt the air-conditioning! The apartment is on a very quiet street, but conveniently located just a few minute walk from a metro stop (on the commuter rail line toward Viterbo). We took the metro every day to get around the city, and it was very easy. Fabiana gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. All the logistics were easy (her lovely parents met us at the apartment on our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know); communications clear and prompt. All in all, a fabulous stay!”

“We had a wonderful holiday in this fabulous home. The apartment itself is lovely - stylish, spacious, airy and very comfortable with everything we needed to make our stay an absolute pleasure. Two of the bedrooms had their own en-suite bathrooms, the other two shared a 3rd bathroom and all four of the bedrooms had air-conditioning - such a relief in the August heat. And while the rest of the house was not air-conditioned, with the large windows & doors in the living area open to the breeze, the large living dining area was a comfortable and relaxing place to hang out when we were not out exploring the city. As for the location - it was just about perfect. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean & green - a perfect antidote to the noise, heat and crowds of the tourist hot spots of the city in Augusta, but at the same time we had local restaurants, grocery stores, bank and the metro just minutes from the front door. The hosts made us feel welcome right from the first contact and were super helpful once we arrived. I loved this home and would wholeheartedly recommend this swap with anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Rome.”

“This is an outstanding property with outstanding hosts. The property is situated in a very nice neighborhood just north of the Borghese Park. Public transportation is excellent and if you are inclined to walk, as we (two adults, two teenagers) were, many of the popular sights (e.g., Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Borghese Galleria) are easily reached. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The four bedrooms are air-conditioned and the rest of the expansive home has large windows and doors that open unto balconies, so that the summer breezes blow through in the evening. We made many meals in the apartment, using two very nearby grocery stores on a daily basis. However, when we did eat out, we found very good restaurants within walking distance. The owners are very friendly and gracious. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in Rome.”
