Hello!
We are a family, composed of a father, mother and children aged from 6 to 15 .
We live in a very big house with a beautiful garden in Rome in the calm Monte Mario area.
About the house...
It is a childfriendly hous with toys, books and a big garden...
It is a charming old building from the early 1900s, it is very spacious, has high ceilings and is of typical Italian characteristics! It is a mixture of modern features, due to a whole lot of renovating that we have finished less than a year ago, with several touches of Italian tradition. The house is very luminous and spacious. The kitchen is its best part, being very big, with an extremely big wooden table, with marble appliances and a stone cheminee. The decor is a mixture between Italian, French provencal and modern. It is cozy in the winter when it is cold outside, and beautiful in the summer, especially in the evening, when you can sit down to have a glass of wine and really get the feeling of being in Rome. On the ground floor of the house you can find the kitchen, two living rooms (one is more of a study, with big table and computers, the other one is more of a lounge with a piano etc. ), there is a bathroom, a small bedroom, a laundry room and a little terrace.
On the second floor there are four bedrooms, one of which has a balcony and a bathroom. On the third floor there are two big bedrooms with a bathroom.
Generally the house can suit 14 people, however, there is also an extra mezzanine that in several occasions has been transformed into extra sleeping space, therefore you could do the same :)
We are very open to all kinds of exchanges. We are interested in short term, as well as long term exchanges. Moreover, we would be very happy to even accommodate two families of friends if desired, so you could travel all together.
We are especially interested in a house in the mountains (for example in France, Austria or Switzerland but very open to all suggestions) at the end of march/easter
We are open to ALL DESTINATIONS, especially in the summer!!!
Looking forward to hearing from you!!!
Edyta and Alessio
A calm and green area of Rome. The house in close to all amenities, you can walk pretty much everywhere (shops, bars, a characteristic Italian market of fruit and vegetables only minutes away, 5mins. from metro and buses that go to central Rome, very easy to get for example to Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, St. Peter's, the Vatican, Trastevere in the evening for romantic dinners or some night life etc.)
There is a parking space and eventually we are open for a car exchange.
Distance from sea: 40 mins.
Distance from mountains: 1.30
We are a couple with 4 children
Alessio is a wine producer, Edyta is a midwife.
We love travel traveling, our house is recently renovated, big and comfortable
