About our home

**Rental only**

Soak up the authentic Italian lifestyle in a perfect base to explore the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Sorrento...

This beautiful large apartment is located on the upper floor of a recently renovated manor house dating back to 1700, located in the town center of Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi, a picturesque little village that still preserves the beauty and warmth of a past and simpler life, in a stunning location nestled between Sorrento and Positano on the hills over the Amalfi Coast, with a breathtaking view overlooking both the gulf of Naples and that of Salerno.

The apartment is 150mq (1600sf) in size, and has 4 double rooms each with a queen size bed and private bathroom, all decorated with good taste and modern comforts. There is a living room, a kitchen equipped with everything that’s needed to cook your own meals, and a 25mq (270sf) terrace with a view of the gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The apartment is equipped with A/C, satellite TV, wifi, washing machine, dish-washer, private parking.

The house is a short stroll to several family-run restaurants, gelaterias, fresh pasta shops, fruit and vegetable stores, mini-markets, bakeries, butchers and fish-shops, coffee bars, pubs and other small shops for all needs. And prices are still reasonable, much lower than those of Sorrento, Capri or Positano.

The town is easily reachable by car, bus or train, and is perfectly suited for exploring the many beautiful sights and towns in the surrounding area. It is located 50 meters from a bus stop and there is a regular bus from Sant’Agata to Sorrento, which is just 6 miles away. From there it’s possible to go to Pompei and Naples by train, or take the hydrofoil to Capri, Ischia, Naples, Positano and Amalfi. There is also an Amalfi Coast bus stop 300m away, which stops in Positano, Praiano, Conca dei Marini (Emerald grotto) and Amalfi, making it the perfect base to explore the area. For those who love to walk there are also many beautiful hiking paths, and of course beaches close by.

Please note that the apartment is available for rent as a vacation home over the European summer months (mid March to mid November) and is not available for swaps at that time. We welcome rental requests at any time of year, and swap requests only from late November to early March.
We are looking to swap to a home in Sydney, Australia over the Australian summer months (or any part thereof).
