Where is it?
The town of S.Marinella is ideally located for visiting Rome or even the Etruscan area while enjoyng the advantages of a relatively small town on the sea and near some of the roman beaches. The towns of Cerveteri and Tarquinia are the two major settlements of the ancient Etruscans and they are located less then 20 Km from S.Marinella. Civitavecchia (7 Km) is also one of the major turistic harbours in the Mediterranean sea and from there you can easily start a cruise across the Mediterranean sea or simply take a ferry to Sardinia Island (3 to 6 hours) or to Sicily (one night cruise).
Moreover, by train you can easily get to Pisa (the famous leaning tower)in a daily tour from 7.30 in the morning till 10.30 at night spending 9 hours there or, by car, you can get to Florence in three hours, Siena in two hours or to the Amalfi coast in four hours.
Should you come in winter time you may also get to the ski slopes of Mt. Terminillo or Campo Felice in 2/3 hours.
