About our home

Welcome in my flat in the centre of Turin in a building from 17th century with very high ceilings, fireplace and wooden floor, consisting of a big entrance, two bedrooms with double bed (one is a guest room with one sofa downstairs and a double bed on a second level), a very big living room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony, with total surface about 130 m2. There are also a piano and a high speed internet connection available (wireless, too, in the whole flat), but NO TV. I feel very at ease here and so do all my friends and guests.

More about us

  1. I'm a german woman living since a long time in Turin and I work as freelance translator. As I need only my laptop and Internet connection to work, I'm very flexible regarding the period and the duration of exchange. I love travelling and I did already several home exchanges through this website which were all very successful!
I would prefer exchanges of at least a week.

Where is it?

The apartment is in the old center, the so called "Quadrilatero romano", an historical, very animated aera with cafés and restaurants. Just beside there is the biggest market of Europe "Porta Palazzo" hold daily, where shopping is really a pleasure. The most important attractions as Palazzo and Giardini Reali, the Museum of Oriental Art, the Cinema Museum, the Egyptian Museum and the wonderful squares and cafés are in walkable distance, all the other sightseeing highlights you con easily reach by public means of transportation. Turin is a surprising city and has a lot to offer, contemporary art, interesting architecture, the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, important film festivals and delicious food and in the surroundings you may visit wineyards, go hiking in the moutains or organize day trips to Milano and the seaside in Liguria.
