About our home

All the rooms in our flat are spacious and modern, with high walls, as the building dates from the year 1930. It is our first and only house and we made it as comfortable as possible. It was fully renovated in 2008. It has a very large living room area, ideal for cooking and eating in the company of friends. We have 3 children and we think they can find their ideal spots for reading, playing and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are big and colourful.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5, parents and 3 kids, aged 17, 15 and 11. I, Ester, am a secondary school teacher and my husband Mauro is a technician. We enjoy travelling and meeting new people! We take care of our flat as much as we would take care of yours. We like acting and music and if you or your children want to play the piano you can do it in our flat. Turin is not very well known as a tourist city yet, but more and more people are impressed by its beauties, and the voice spreads.. we can guarantee there are plenty of things to see and do and we can't wait to give you some advice...

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The flat is situated in a semi-central area in Turin. The street is quiet, but very close to shopping streets and a daily open air market. Bus stops are just down the road and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre by public transport. A big park with children's playgrounds is 300m far. Turin is a historical city, the first capital of Italy, it is being appreciated more and more by foreign tourists for its museums (among which the Egyptian museum, the second biggest after the Cairo one)and art galleries, for its clubs and nightlife. The biggest and most typical open-air market in Europe is here. The flat is ideally located as a touring base, to visit the Roman remains, the beautiful Baroque buildings, the Savoy royal residences. Turin is the main city in Piedmont, the Italian region famous for its tasty cuisine and its excellent wines and you will have plenty of trattorie around where to enjoy a delicious dinner...
