About our home
Villa Manciano is a very typical old stone Holiday House that was supposed to be also an elementary school about 100 years ago, for the kids of the rural Manciano area. The property is more than 3 acres (12.000 sq. meters) and is wonderfully located in the Val di Chiana area close to Cortona and everything thats windfall about Tuscany. The villa is part of the Manciano area which is the birthplace of Roberto Benigni the Oscar winning Italian actor (“Life is Beautiful” Movie).
The fine restoration was completed in July 2006 and then upgraded significantly in 2015. We are really proud of the result. The 12,000 sq. meter gardens surround this beautiful holiday home and really big enough to lose yourself in!!.
We restored 3 wonderful homes for 2 to 6 Persons with independent entrances, private patios for relaxing or eating and reserved parking places.
La Limonaia and Il Fienile are both 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Or the whole stone part of Villa Manciano can be taken as one private home for 12 to 16 people. (6 double bedrooms + 2 double sofa beds if required)
The third part: La Bauhinia is our private home which we do not swap or rent.
The villa is part of the Manciano area which is the birthplace of Roberto Benigni the Oscar winning Italian actor (“Life is Beautiful” Movie). The house is situated in a quiet pleasant place and it is also in a perfect location to visit some of the most beautiful places in Tuscany:
