About our home
I want to welcome you to my “dream come true” Villa Dante. I have taken great pride in restoring the villa and would now like to share it with those who have a love for Tuscany and its food.
Villa Dante is a beautifully restored 18th century villa high in the hills of Tuscany.
The villa has been restored to its former glory with the addition of modern amenities. The villa sleeps 12 with a choice of a double or sharing twin. The baths are shared. One large bath per floor.
There are two lounge areas, one with TV/DVD and the other with music/reading area.
You will have the opportunity to take long walks through the hills or to hike the famous Orrido de Botri Gorge, day trip to Lucca, day trip to explore Florence, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, and watch spectacular sunsets with mountains off in the distance.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Montefegatesi is a small medieval town dating back to etruscan times. There is a small grocery, bar(that serves great pizza and beer), post office, and doctors office. There are many walking/trekking trails in the area. The jewel of tuscany , Lucca , is just 45 mins away with lots of shopping and restaurants . Florence and Pisa are both easily reached within an hour and 15 mins. Both worth the day trip out.
The villa has it's own pizza oven which makes for a fun evening.
