About our home

Our apartment is located in the hearth of Castello, in the backyards of piazza san Marco, facing the entrance of the historical shipping area of the ancient venetian fleet. It's a fully renewed 80 sqm flat on two levels, with a great view on the campo. The apartment stands close to all the Biennale exposition venues, where every year the most interesting international exhibitions in art and architecture are held from May to November; moreover it is just 3 vaporetto stops to the Lido's beaches, an international attraction for its famous Film Festival.

  3. we also love traveling, but in the true spirit of the places we try to visit and understand. that's the reason we joined Home for Exchange: looking for the real and sharing the same understanding

Where is it?

Castello district grew in the last years as one of the highlights in Venice for art, culture, good food and shops. The Biennale of Art and Architecture drew a soft urban regeneration, matching architectural renewal with new city life trends in this ancient part of town, deeply linked to traditional shipping activities. Moreover, located in the backyards of piazza san Marco, Castello still remains a peaceful place to experience venetian local life far away from crowd and heavy tourism.
