Their generosity and hospitality is something that you can experience only once in a lifetime. They took so great care of my wife and me that it is amazing. All of you trying to exchange with them feel lucky if they invite you to your home as you will enjoy it a lot. Also for those who want to visit Tokyo and Japan go for it as it is one of the best parts of the world. Vann and Chiseko once again thank you so much for having us in your home. “Last September Vannchi and his wife Chiseko - though in hospital at that time - offered so much help and advice that it was quite easy for us to get along in a megacity like Tokyo, which is so different from any European city. But what was more important and far beyond what you would expect in a home exchange - they offered their care and friendship. Vannchi spent a lot of time with us, showed us many interesting places in Tokyo and invited us to traditional restaurants, we would never have found without him. Thanks to him we've got some glimpses into a society so different from our western lifestyle. At the beginning of our stay he was abroad. So he made sure a close friend of him was available for introducing us to the place and giving support for our first steps into Tokyo. He provided 2 bicycles and we enjoyed amazing bike rides along a green river and canals just in front of the flat, forgetting that there were millions of people around. We hope that Vannchi and Chiseko will manage to come to our place in Berlin and give us the chance to return a little bit of their friendship.”
