About our home
My home is cheerful and sunny. It is always clean and tidy but is an interesting and relaxing environment with lots of art work around.
For Tokyo it is considered quite spacious. It has a small garden and balcony and 3 bedrooms although one is used as a studio. One bedroom has a double bed and the other futons for 2 people. The bedrooms are upstairs and the living room and bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is basic but functional and the bathroom has a large bath.

My name is Heather. I am an art teacher at an international school in Tokyo. I love travelling and taking photographs and especially like going to Japanese festivals. I also enjoy keeping fit by cycling and swimming and love eating good food, watching foreign movies and visiting art exhibitions. The best times for exchange for me are school holidays - 3 weeks in December/January and 9 weeks from late June to late August.

Neighbourhood
My neighbourhood is quiet even though it is in central Tokyo. It is close to subway stations (about 10 min walk ) and very near bus routes. There are several parks close by and good restaurants, galleries, museums and shopping areas are easily reached.
