Our contemporary Japan design two bed apartment has the comforts of high-tech Japan (bath/kitchen), traditional esthetics and tatami flooring in bedrooms, with western beds and plush, non-allergenic sheets. It is tucked into a quiet, very peaceful corner next to the mountain and village Zen temple, but only 5 minutes walk from the bustle of village center and also 5 minutes walk in different directions to the ski resort main gondola and main bowl. You will be able to enjoy onsen hopping around the village, mountain activities throughout the year, and the great local cuisine and nightlife that is offered in this quintessential Japan mountain resort where old Japan is still very much integrated into our everyday life.
We are a family of five with 18 year old son and daughters age 15/12. We enjoy all the outdoor and cultural activities surrounding us as everyday life and go into the city for vacations.

We enjoy local architecture and our home maintains the Japanese craftsmanship details and coziness we feel in our unique mountain ski and hot springs village.
