About our home

Unique House on the Secure Private estate-Vipingo Ridge with Swimming pool, within Walking distance to Club House and plenty of on site Activites, Access to private Beach Club & discounted rates on the world class Golf Course. The perfect place to spend a family holiday

Designed in a Traditional Swahili style with walls built of coral stone & large shuttered windows opening out to breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The reclaimed front door opens in to a courtyard where the sun filters through palm fronds on to a trickling fountain. The ground floor has both indoor & outdoor dining and opens out on to the terrace and lap pool. A fully equipped, modern kitchen, incorporates a gas cooking island, oven & double door fridge/freezer. There is also a separate staff kitchen. A sweeping staircase leads up to a sunny roof terrace with al-fresco seating & a bar. This is the perfect spot for ‘sundowners’ with stunning views over the lake and palm fringed valleys beyond. An outdoor 'baraza' bed provides the perfect private spot to read a book or take a siesta.

The 4 large double bedrooms, 2 of which are on the ground floor off the courtyard and 2 on the first floor all have king beds, draped mosquito nets, ceiling fans & stylish en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom features a built in terrazzo king bed and a huge bathroom with a large stone bath and shower. The landscaped tropical gardens are surrounded are separated from the pristine fairways by a stream that flows in to a lake teaming with birdlife. A resident monitor lizard can often be seen sunning itself on the opposite side of the lake! In the evening honeysuckle that grows up the outside walls fills the courtyard with its enchanting scent.

Daily cleaning and laundry included.

Perfect base to explore the Kenyan coast. We can also help you plan your safari from the Ridge. Daily flights straight in to Vipingo Ridge with Safarilink from Wilson Airport Nairobi. We recommend hiring a car to maximise your stay!
