Where is it?

The serene courtyard house is situated just outside Timau, 20km north of Nanyuki in Laikipia county. Laikipia has been the colonial bolthole in Kenya for generations boasting some of the best wildlife viewing in East Africa and pioneering wildlife conservation in Africa. Home to some of the most endangered species, having the big 5 just 30 minutes from our doorstep and offering stunning views of the second tallest lone standing mountain in the world; the courtyard house is ideally situated to cater to the active type as well as people who have come to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

La Rustique, and our very own Shop 14 Deli and Cafe. We have a great little restaurant , and can deliver any fresh deli food and wine directly to the house for you.

Anything can be planned by prior arrangement, regularly planned activities include : Mountain horse riding. Fly fishing and picnic on the slopes of mount Kenya, either by car or helicopter.
